Introduction

Here are an assortment of Android exclusive games that have either been newly released, tend to be more obscure than their more popular counterparts, or did not fit within the previous categories of our Stress Relief Game Apps (2017) series.
 
Most games are meant to be calming & relaxing, helping to induce a meditative state, or otherwise offering a bit of entertainment, distraction, or soothing mental stimulation through their interaction, puzzles, or other gameplay elements. A few more aggressive games meant for venting tension & frustration have also been included as a counterpoint.
 
All apps are either completely free to play or offer free versions that may include ads or less premium content that can be later added to the game through in-app purchases.

Knife Hit the Buddy – Stress Relief Game

• Vent your stress & frustration with this digital knife throwing game where you can kick, beat, and stab the cute dummy, fruit and other food items & targets throughout several different levels using a variety of different weapons. Game can be upgraded to a premium version without ads.

Particle Flow

• A completely free open source app that acts as a live wallpaper or soothing interactive game where you can create unique dazzling effects by controling up to 50,000 eye-catching colored particles through touch, the placement of attraction points, or through other customization options.

Logic Puzzles - Games for the Brain, Plasma Style

• Android | Website (Free with ads & in-app purchases)
• A colorful and relaxing puzzle game based on filling grids with color changing spheres in order to match a pre-set pattern. Features a minimalist design with no timers or pressure & easy undo or reset options in order to facilitate a meditative & logical state of mind. Five increasingly difficult levels are available with a variety of free puzzles. More puzzles & a premium upgrade to no ads are available through extra in-app purchases.

ColorSeek

• A color based puzzle game that revolves around matching pairs through hundreds of different levels of varying difficulties. Simple controls and intuitive game play create a visually soothing experience. More puzzles and an add-free premium version can be bought through in-app purchases.

Turn the Ball - A stress relieving game

• Android (Free)
• An easy to play arcade style game based on rolling a ball through a maze through simple physics and tap & touch while collecting as many available rubies as possible. The game is completely free to play with no intrusive or immersion breaking ads and has a small file size that does not take up much room on a smart phone.

Inner Garden

• A free beautifully crafted game that allows the user to build their own fantasy gardens from scratch using a selection of hand painted art. Lure animals into living within the gardens, take pictures, or set up the garden as your phone's wallpaper.  Simple gesture controls, collectible cards, the availability of blank plots or simple start up gardens, and easy undo history lead help build a stress-free, completely relaxing experience.  Themed expansion packs with more items are available for purchase.

Pixyfy: pixel art and color by number

• A coloring app that focuses on pixel style art that is broken down into easily identified numbered colors that can later be shared & commented upon by the Pixyfy community at large. The coloring pages come in varying levels of difficulty for both adults & children alike. App continues to update daily with new art & bonuses.
