Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Personal hygiene - bathing, grooming, oral care
  • Dressing
  • Eating 
  • Maintaining continence - toileting 
  • Transferring
Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)
  • Basic communication​
  • Transportation
  • Meal preparation
  • Light housework
  • Managing medications
  • Shopping
  • Managing personal finances
